Projects status: the center has been delivered in April 2016; the handover is planned to take place in September/October 2016.
Project description: over 80% of Syrian refugees in Jordan (they are in total 635,324, 10% of the entire population) live outside camps in urban areas, and in poverty, facing a huge lack of educational opportunities.
These center is a pilot project as it accomodates both Jordanian students and Syrian refugee children, with the goal to enable a better integration and to alleviate the tensions between the hosting community and that of refugees.
